Choosing the name Dualcrest was something I wrestled with for days, because I wanted it to feel right for the girls—and for our guild as a whole. Both Pem and Vibi are incredibly hardworking, often pushing late into the night to meet client expectations or corporate deadlines. They’ve made our team proud time and time again, and we’re committed to providing an environment where they can continue to grow and thrive.

We honestly can’t imagine Puppet Works without either of them, and we’re forever grateful to have two such amazing artists on our team.

Puppet Works Gen 4: Dualcrest

April 2026 marks Puppet Works' second big expansion since our 2025 Arondight wave, welcoming Veabie and Pembiklimon! While growing the team always comes with logistical challenges, every moment spent supporting our artists makes it all worthwhile.

The girls have a wonderful duality—not just in their color palettes, but also in their quotes and personalities too. We loved how naturally they both fell seamlessly into place in our home here at Puppet Works.

Meet Veabie!

Veabie is a thoughtful and imaginative artist, always approaching her work with a sense of curiosity and care. Art has been her safe place for as long as she can remember—a space to explore, experiment, and let ideas take shape naturally. She often trusts the process, starting without a fixed plan and allowing each piece to evolve on its own, which gives her work a unique sense of life and movement.

With a strong love for manga, film, and music, she draws constant inspiration from stories that play out vividly in her mind. That storytelling instinct carries into her character work, where each design feels personal and alive. Outside of digital art, she enjoys creating things by hand, from sketching in her traditional notebook to crocheting, always staying connected to the craft.

"I think being an artist is like being an explorer, and I want to bring that same sense of wonder to other people" -Veabie "There’s a quiet warmth to how she approaches both her art and the people around her, bringing a genuine sense of wonder into everything she does." -Management

Check out Pem!

Pembiklimon is a truly unique artist who has taken a style and completely made it her own. Her work is heavily inspired by retro games, dynamic fighting game poses, and just all things cool. She adores Sonic, Castlevania, Shin Megami Tensei, the Silent Hill franchise—anything with tank controls, anything retro, and most importantly… old.

She’s not afraid to speak her mind when something isn’t working, and that’s a quality we deeply admire. She doesn’t sugarcoat, and her art is no exception. Some of the most amazing, dynamic action pieces for V-Cards have come straight from Pem’s fingertips, and we couldn’t be prouder.

ALSO... "If you are reading this, play ghost trick or hotel dusk." -Pembiklimon

As a small note to our community from us:

"We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during the busy convention season. If any requests are deferred until after Dokomi, please know we’ll be back in full force and more available to the public later in the year. Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our artists." ~ Management
